Care Principles commissioned Taylor Young to design this assessment and treatment
centre for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. The project provided 92 en-suite
bedrooms with learning support, recreation and rehabilitation accommodation and cost £13.5M.
Construction was carried out under a partnering contract and the work was completed in just over a year.
The length of the procurement programme was reduced by the use of a dedicated web portal which allowed
information to be shared by all the principal members of the design and construction teams. |
